Community Makes A Difference

Northern State Bank participated in the recent Make A Difference campaign.  Eight area businesses, including NSB, agreed to match donations from the community to help area residents meet basic needs this winter.  The ambitious goal was to raise $70,000 but, with the incredible effort of businesses, churches and citizens, over $84,000 was raised.

The BRICK reviews numerous requests for assistance from families and individuals in Ashland and Bayfield Counties.  NSB currently manages the Make A Difference account.  Donations so far this season have provided help with rent, winter clothing, medications, utilities and provisions for the food shelf.

Daffodil Days

Northern State Bank is participating in the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days.  Daffodil bunches will be for sale in the bank's main lobby during the week of March 15th.  Buy a bunch and bring an early touch of spring to your home or office and support this good cause.
